A Prayer of David.
|
1 Abaisse ton oreille, ô SEIGNEUR, entends-moi: car je suis pauvre et nécessiteux.
|
1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
|
2 Préserve mon âme: car je suis saint: ô toi, mon Dieu, sauve ton serviteur qui se confie en toi.
|
2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
|
3 Sois miséricordieux envers moi, ô Seigneur: car je crie à toi quotidiennement.
|
3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
|
4 Réjouis l’âme de ton serviteur: car à toi, ô Seigneur j’élève mon âme.
|
4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
|
5 Car toi, Seigneur, tu es bon, et prêt à pardonner; et abondant en miséricorde envers tous ceux qui t’appellent.
|
5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
|
6 Prête l’oreille, ô SEIGNEUR, à ma prière: et sois attentif à la voix de mes supplications.
|
6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
|
7 Au jour de mon inquiétude je ferai appel à toi: car tu me répondras.
|
7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
|
8 Parmi les dieux il n’y en a aucun semblable à toi, ô Seigneur; et il n’y a aucune œuvre semblable à tes œuvres.
|
8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
|
9 Toutes les nations que tu as faites, viendront et adoreront devant toi, ô Seigneur, et elles glorifieront ton nom.
|
9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
|
10 Car tu es grand, et tu fais de prodigieuses choses: tu es Dieu, toi seul.
|
10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
|
11 Enseigne-moi ton chemin, ô SEIGNEUR; je marcherai dans ta vérité: unis mon cœur pour craindre ton nom.
|
11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
|
12 Je te louerai, ô Seigneur mon Dieu, de tout mon cœur: et je glorifierai ton nom à tout jamais.
|
12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
|
13 Car grande est ta miséricorde envers moi: et tu as délivré mon âme de l’enfer le plus profond.
|
13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
|
14 Ô Dieu, les orgueilleux se sont levés contre moi, et les assemblées d’hommes violents en ont voulu à mon âme; et ils ne t’ont pas placé devant eux.
|
14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.
|
15 Mais toi, ô Seigneur, tu es un Dieu plein de compassion, et de bienveillance, de longanimité, et abondant en miséricorde et en vérité.
|
15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
|
16 Ô tourne-toi vers moi et aie miséricorde envers moi; donne ta vigueur à ton serviteur, et sauve le fils de ta suivante.
|
16 O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
|
17 Montre-moi un indice réel; afin que ceux qui me haïssent puissent le voir, et soient honteux; parce que toi, SEIGNEUR, tu m’as aidé et réconforté.
|
17 Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
